Who says technology just brings well-being? This morning my b-ticino opened the windows and turned on the lights of my bedroom at 5 a.m. One error in that gadget and I lose one hour of sleep!
Regis Gabineski Even though I'm mad, I got up quite energetic and voice-commanded my bathtub to prepare my bath at 31 degrees Celsius. In the kitchen, while I picked my yogurt, I checked my e-mail and realized my b-ticino was not wrong. The first message in the mail box informed me I had to be somewhere across town at 6 a.m.! I've got other important e-mails to read. I can do it on the way to my appointment, though. The cars, now, have Blue Tooth connection, Wi-Fi, GPS, GPRS and others. They also rely upon several powerful Operational Systems, which provide drivers and passengers with live speaking communication, access to personalized information on the web, and the possibility of requesting services of entertainment and convenience. All that comfort has generated an increased number of cars on the streets and trips nowadays take longer. No wonder I take one hour to go across town. The Murphy Law proves itself to me every single day. I'm already late and, now, I'm stuck in a traffic jam. The car queue is huge; I am going to use this time to access my e-mail account and watch a DVD. As I distract myself with those chores, I can't help wondering how fantastic it is to have so many resources at my disposal inside a mobile and such compact space. My car is equipped with a security system in which the driver is the main priority. Distraction tools are turned off when the car is moving.
